On April 30, 2015 at the Faculty of Maritime law and Management was held "round table" on "Presentation of the Summer School project Network of competence centres for the development of cruise tourism in the Black Sea region (Georgia and Ukraine) 543681-TEMPUS-1 -2013-1-DE-TEMPUS-JPHES - CruiseT involving groups of cadets: 7301, 6101, 6102.
Within the framework of the round table were:
- Dr. Guido Kaufmann, manager of the project «Network of competence centres for the development of cruise tourism in the Black Sea region (Georgia and Ukraine) 543681-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-DE-TEMPUS-JPHES - CruiseT» with a presentation about the main ONMA activities within the project «Network of competence centres for the development of cruise tourism in the Black Sea region (Georgia and Ukraine) (Creation of a network of centers of competence for the development of cruise tourism in the Black Sea region) 543681-TEMPUS-1-2013-1- DE-TEMPUS-JPHES - CruiseT»
- Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Law of Batumi State Maritime Academy Novel Mamuladze a presentation about the Summer School in the framework of the project «Network of competence centres for the development of cruise tourism in the Black Sea region (Georgia and Ukraine) 543681-TEMPUS-1-2013- 1-DE-TEMPUS-JPHES - CruiseT».
After the "round table" meeting was held FML&M ONMA Dean M. Golikova and Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Law BGMA R. Mamuladze, where they discussed the main directions of cooperation with ONMA BSMA.
Golikova M. V. presented the author’s monographes "Problems of sustainable development of the subsystems of the global marine transport industry" under the general editorship. Primachev N. T., Klimeka N.; "The efficiency of maritime transport industry" under the general editorship. Primachov N.T., Primachev N.N.
Themes of reports Kaufmann G. and Mamuladze R. aroused great interest among the cadets.

From 18 to 25 April 2015 a working group of the Odessa National Maritime Academy, which is the national coordinator of the project TEMPUS CruiseT, participated in the coordination meeting held in Varna Free University of Chernorizets Khrabriy (Bulgaria). The working group included: vice-rector for international activity Zaichko S. I.; Professor Golubkova I.A.; professor, senior lecturer Lewinsky T.I.; Assistant, postgraduate student ONMA Peresypkina N.A.; Assistant, postgraduate Babachenko M.V.

As part of the coordination meeting ONMA delegation took part in the following events:
- Introduction of Varna Free University of Chernorizets Khrabriy;
- Presentation of the Association "Regional centers of competence development of cruise tourism in the Black Sea region", whose founders are ONMA and Kherson State University;
- Report on the work to develop the themes and structure of training courses in the cruise business, together with the administration of the Odessa seaport SE "Odessa Commercial Sea Port" and BASPA;
- ONMA as the National Coordinator reported on the creation of a site www.blacksea-cruises.com, as well as the completion of work on the preparation of the working documents for registration of the project with the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
Also participated in the Workshop, which was conducted by leading professors from Germany, Italy, Slovakia, on the following topics:
- Development trends, management and positioning for the sustainable economic development of tourism;
- Specific characteristics of event-management;
- The quality of services in the sector of hospitality;
- Social media technologies in the field of tourism and hospitality.
After each Workshop presentations were each working group and identified topics for «Summer school», the job has been received from the European coaches have defined plans for possible future cooperation programs with partner universities of the project. There was the drafting of the treaty was discussed organization of the project «Summer school» and the participation of students ONMA in this project (during the internship in accordance with the curriculum). It was agreed method of questioning the passengers of cruise ships calling at the seaport administration of Odessa SE "Odessa Commercial Sea Port" and processing the results. We examined the administrative matters in connection with the release of the Crimean project partners.

The third coordination meeting of the TEMPUS CruiseT in Georgia |

From 9 to 16 October 2014, the third coordination meeting within the project "Creating a network of centers of excellence for the development and support of cruise tourism in the Black Sea region." The meeting was organized and hosted by the project participants TEMPUS CruiseT - Batumi State Maritime Academy, Kutaisi University, Training University of Guram Tavartkiladze and Caucasus International University. This project is funded by the Standing Committee of the European Union.
The participants of the meeting were about 100 representatives of administrative, educational and tourist organizations of operating agencies of the European Union, as well as from Germany, Italy, Ukraine, Slovakia, Georgia, Romania and Bulgaria. The meeting discussed the development of the cruise tourism industry in the Black Sea region. The meeting took place in three cities of Georgia - Batumi, Kutaisi and Tbilisi. Everyday work of the participants plenty of seasoned hospitality of our Georgian partners who, in fact, organized a nine-day tour of the beautiful and hospitable country.
The main objective of the project is the creation of the territory of Ukraine and Georgia on the development of competence centers, training and education of personnel for cruise tourism in the Black Sea region.
Experts note the significant progress in the development of the cruise port infrastructure Black Sea countries and the growing interest of tourists to our region. According to the calculations of tour operators, annual growth in the number of cruises calling at the ports of the Black Sea during the last five years, it does not fall below 10%, and in 2013 was more than 30%.
Experts believe - the project will greatly enhance the investment attractiveness of the region that will provide a more efficient use of all available resources and will contribute to the competitiveness of all the countries of the Black Sea region.

From 5 to 7 February 2014 at the Odessa National Maritime Academy with the participation of the administration of the Odessa seaport and the Association of the Black and Azov Seas BASPA held the first coordination meeting of the international project "Creating a network of centers of excellence for the development and support of cruise tourism in the Black Sea region". This project is funded by the Standing Committee of the European Union.
Participants in the meeting were about 100 representatives of the administrative, scientific and tourist organizations of operating agencies of the European Union, as well as from Germany, Italy, Ukraine, Slovakia, Turkey, Georgia, Romania, Bulgaria and other countries. The meeting discussed the development of the cruise tourism industry in the Black Sea region. The meeting was held in the Hall of the Academic Council of Odessa National Maritime Academy, as well as the restaurant "Grand Europe" in the building of the Naval Station.
